    Description

In 1920 two brothers and a sister started a metalware business in Brooklyn New York, that became an immediate success.  The business was named Forman Brothers,  and they had over a dozen patents on everything from Cocktail Shakers to Coffee Pots.  In 1938 the business name was changed to Forman Family, so we can date this item pretty accurately.   Famously, Sol Forman went on to buy Peter Luger's Steakhouse, one the world's most renowned Steakhouses which the Forman Family continues to run until this day.
You are viewing a fabulous art deco style tray, made with chromium plating which was at that time a new process.  The tray has embossed flowers designs on the side, and a lovely bakelite handle.
The tray measures 5 3/4" High and is about 12 1/2" Long.

International Buyers: Please email seller with exact shipping address so I can send an invoice with the shipping quote based on your location. Please do not pay until you receive an invoice.
International import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost.  These charges are the buyer's responsibility.  International buyers must check with their country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.  Custom fees are normally charged by the shipping company or collected when you pick up the item. We try to ship very quickly after receiving payment, but delivery outside US varies greatly from country to country and there is no way to predict when your package will arrive.  Most often the process goes very smoothly, but items can get delayed in customs. Please note that I will only use international shipping services that include complete tracking to the shipping address so the item can be tracked at all times.
