In terms of the WEIGHT, pay close attention to the weight listed in grams.  Gold is expensive, so if a bracelet is 10 grams or less that means it is lighter in weight and will be at the lower end of the price scale.  If you want a heavier or more substantial bracelet, I usually include the word HEAVY in the title, and generally these bracelets weigh over 12 grams.  I know that it can be confusing, so if you have any questions, I am always happy to help!
MEASURING FOR A CHARM BRACELET:  If you are purchasing a starter charm bracelet for the first time, please follow these steps to ensure that you purchase a bracelet that is the correct length.  Typical lengths in inches are 6.5, 6.75, 7.0, 7.25, 7.5, 7.75, and 8 inches.
1.  Cut a piece of string, yarn, or ribbon at least 10 inches long
2.  Place the string around the top part of your hand, at the base of your thumb. If you wish to wear your bracelet higher or lower, then measure at the part of your hand or wrist which is most comfortable for you.
3. With a marker, mark the string at the point where the two parts of the string meet.
4.  Remove the string and use a ruler to determine the length of the string where you made your mark. You should purchase a bracelet that falls closest to this measurement.
