I present you with these Rare Lovely Authentic French Art Deco 18K Gold Strength Through Unity Cufflinks !
Fully hallmarked and in beautiful condition, eagles head for 18K gold of French origin as well as the makers mark CE with a lyre in between the letters in a diamond box (8th image). Each cufflink weighs approximately 2.7 grams with a combined weight of approximately 5.4 grams, talk about precision engineering ! The diameter of the circular portion is approximately 1.42 cm (9/16 of an inch), with the secondary clip bar being approximately 2.02 cm (12.5/16 of an inch) in length. The motive which represents strength through unity, otherwise united we stand decided we fall, was extremely popular in France during the Art Deco era and we see this in much of their jewelry and silverware. These are authentic original cufflinks of the Art Deco era which inspired many later copies even till our very modern times, so why not get the originals which are of Museum Quality ?!
