Advanced Features for Building with Wood
The Kreg Jig K5 incorporates the best Kreg Jig features of previous pocket hole jigs, with innovative upgrades you've never seen. That starts with a clamping mechanism that you can quickly adjust, without tools or adjusting nuts, to match your workpiece thickness. Just slide the clamp into place, “click” the large front-mounted clamp handle, and your jig is set to hold your workpiece tight every time. You'll find large support wings to hold your workpiece steady - plus, they open up to provide handy storage for bits and accessories. Add in a batch of other great features, like a swiveling dust collection port, spring-loaded stop for the drill guide block, and, of course, the ability to remove the guide block for portable use, and you have - quite simply - the most advanced Kreg Jig yet.
Fast, Simple Setup
When you're ready to get started building, the Kreg K5 makes it simple. Just select your screw based on the thickness of your wood, set the stop collar using the drill bit setup block, pull the spring-loaded pin to adjust the drill guide block, and then set the workpiece clamp.
Easy Thickness Adjustment
The Kreg Jig offers Kreg's simplest workpiece clamping system ever. The ratcheting clamp simply slides into place against your workpiece. Then, you lift the handle until you hear and feel two clicks, and that's it. Now your clamp is set until you change to a different material thickness.
Support with Built-In Storage
Two large support wings can be attached quickly and easily to both sides of the K5 base. This way, long workpieces get solid support and won't tip. Plus, there's a large storage compartment under the lid in each wing where you can keep your Kreg drill bits, screws, and accessories close at hand, but out of the way.
Swiveling Dust Collection Port
The Kreg Jig K5 comes with a removable dust port that swivels from side to side so that you can position it exactly where you want it, and then attach it to a standard vacuum house. Square-Drive Prevents Bit Slipping While Driving
When you're building a project, there are few things more aggravating than having your driver bit slip, spin, and strip out the screw head. All too often, that leaves you with a screw you can't drive the rest of the way in or back out, so you're stuck. Kreg Screws have a square-drive head that works with a #2 square drive bit to drive screws without the driver slipping. That means you can drive every screw completely, quickly, and with confidence.
Flat-Bottom Head Seats Firmly in Pocket Hole
Ordinary woodworking screws and drywall screws have a head with a conical shape on the underside. The head on a Kreg Screw is perfectly flat on the bottom. That flat shape mates perfectly with the flat pocket in a Kreg pocket hole. So, when you drive these Kreg pocket hole screws into the pocket hole, the force is applied straight toward the screw tip, presses evenly on the pocket, and holds the joint tightly together, without deforming the pocket, which could split the wood.
Smooth Shank Draws the Joint Together
The threads on a Kreg Screw stop partway up the screw shank, which leaves a smooth area below the screw head. It's there for good reason. When you drive the screw in, the threaded portion grabs into the workpiece you're attaching to, pulling the screw in. The other piece glides freely over the unthreaded part of the screw, allowing that piece to pull tightly against the mating piece - without interference from unnecessary threads.
Self-Tapping Tip Drills Its Own Hole Without Splitting
When you assemble a joint with Kreg Screws, the pocket hole is all you have to drill. There's no need for a pilot hole in the mating piece. That's because Kreg Screws have a self-tapping tip that 'drills' its own hole, so the screw drives in quickly and easily without splitting the wood, like ordinary screws often do. This makes assembly much easier, too, since you don't have to worry about whether your pilot hole will line up correctly.

b) In order to be eligible for a full refund, less shipping expenses, your returned merchandise must be in its original new condition, as shipped, with all packaging, manuals, and paperwork intact and unaltered. Items which have been opened are returnable, however they will carry a restocking fee.
c) Customers remain responsible for the shipping and handling expenses incurred in shipping the item to them. If an item is offered with "Free Shipping," this means we are paying the freight on your behalf. If that product is returned for a refund, the shipping expenses incurred, will be deducted from the refund. If an item is refused, the carrier bills us for shipping both ways, and these expenses incurred on your behalf need to be deducted from your refund
d) All returns are subject to inspection. Products returned must be in brand new condition, as per Paragraph b), if not, it may be deemed non-refundable or will be subject to at least a 15% restocking fee. If your return is missing accessory components, or shows signs of wear - restocking fees will be higher. e) Returns should be packed in an outer shipping carton, not just the original box/packing of the product. The RMA# should be clearly inscribed on the shipping label. A copy of your invoice and Order # should be included, and your return should be insured, with shipping costs pre-paid. We cannot accept any COD shipments.
f) There are product categories which are not returnable due to hygienic or sanitary as required by manufacturers. If your items is a consumable good or is has been locked by a manufacturer such as Apple or HP the return will not be accepted
