Offered is a vintage Haviland & Co. Limoges, France Schleiger 98 Clover Leaf Pattern Bread & Butter Plate.  The clover leaf pattern is one of Haviland’s most popular patterns consisting of a border of green clover leaves and tiny red flowers on a scalloped edge and trimmed in gold.  The back stamp on this piece was used during the period of 1894 – 1931.
The plates were an estate sale purchase and are in very good condition no chips, cracks, or crazing.  There are a few light scuffs and/or scratches which are visible upon close inspection.  The pattern and gold trim shows no wear.
Measurements are approximately 6 ¼” diameter x ¾” tall.
