The Harvest VKP1130 is made from stainless steel with a double-sided wire rack, allowing this canner to be used either as a steam canner or water bath canner. This steam canner / water bath canner has an indicator on the lid that tells exactly when to start processing. An added feature to this indicator knob is that it shows the different elevation zones so you can start timing your canning job correctly. The Harvest Water Bath Canning Jar comes with a glass lid and a clad bottom. The clad bottom allows for it to be used on ceramic ranges and induction ranges. The Water Bath Canning Capacity is 8 -1 pints or 7 - 1 quart jars per batch. .
