    Description

    You are looking at an original piece of Art Deco Chromeware which signaled in the "Modern Era" as we know it.
    Created by Farberware and called the basket plate--it has a wonderful tan colored plate by American Lennox which features a very aesthetic Calla Lilly(left over from the Art Nouveau period where Calla Lillys were favored)--and also has a wonderful pierced chrome bail--handle.
    The piece is in mint condition--none of the pitting that is sometimes a part of the early chrome pieces--even top of the lines like this one.  The only thing I could find after extensive searching was that I could see some very very slight crazing in the Lennox Plate..if anything adding to the stature of the piece rather than detracting from it..
