Elgin Art Deco Parisienne Lady’s Wrist Watch-Lucien Lelong

Elegant Art Deco Elgin "Premet" Ladie's wrist watch.
Part of the "Parisienne" series designed by Lucien Lelong.  The white gold filled case features geometric panels inlaid with black enamel and a parallelogram dial with Arabic numerals.  This watch is remarkably clean and it is currently running and keeping good time (but I am not a jeweler or watchmaker so no guarantees.)  The enamel is in excellent condition and the domed crystal, which may be original, show no chips, cracks or scuffs.  Fastenings on the simple cord band are unmarked.  There is some discoloration on the case side etching that a watchmaker may be able to remove when the watch is serviced.  It has been in storage for many years so servicing is recommended.   Case is appx 1" long (excluding lugs) by 5/8" wide. Total length of watch and with band is appx 6".  A striking and sophisticated example of the watchmaker's art.
