    18 IN THE TITLE BECAUSE IT IS 18.5" ACROSS.....BIGGER TYPE ....IT HAS SOME ROOM TO PUT STUFF IN IT AS IT IS ABOUT 2" TALL.
    I am not an expert in the field so please make your own determination. Through my research, it shows that "The Theodore Haviland mark" is commonly found and it variation dates from 1893 to early 1900s.
