For offer is this beautiful Antique Art Nouveau 900 Coin Silver Francis Stebbings Lorgnette Folding Opera Glasses!
They are in a good preowned condition with patina from age, the right hand lens has a small flea bite chip to the glass but otherwise does not hinder the view.
These beautiful glasses were once prominently used for opera settings for a better view. The glasses have a lot of magnification and when closed can double as a very fine magnifying glass.
They are made of 900 silver and are stamped with the makers mark for Francis Stebbings.
They measure a little over 4.5 inches tall and extend to 4 inches wide when opened.
They are easy to close by folding the left lens down and pushed into the lock.
To open you need only pull down on the side button.
